Sombrero Loco/Crazy Hat

Hace unas semanas un buen amigo de mi esposo cumplió 50 años, fue una fiesta muy divertida, la comida y la sangría estuvieron deliciosas.

El tema de la fiesta fue El Sobrero Loco; me pareció súper original y una excelente excusa para poner mi creatividad en uso.

Esta fue mi idea, una maseta con flores y una regadera, cuando le conté a mi esposo de la idea le causo risa, (me parece genial mi reina). El me contesto.

Use una diadema para pegar la meseta, la cual es una corra de lámpara, decidí usarla porque era liviana, además su forma y color muy similar a la de una maseta o matero. Utilice oasis, el mismo que usan en floristerías. Todo lo compre en una tienda de 99 centavos y use silicona fría para pegar todo. Decore con unas pequeñas mariposas, un nido con huevos y la pareja de pajaritos.

El sombrero de mi esposo es una regadera normal, use las tiras de plástico brillante, este es el plástico es el que se usa como relleno decorativo para canastas navideñas, de frutas o flores. Use elástico de silicona para sostenerlo de la cabeza, tal como se hace con los gorros de fiestas infantiles.

Es resultado final es el que vez en la fotografía, espero esto te sirva de inspiración para hacer un cumpleaños con este tema de Sombrero Loco, es súper divertido o para fiestas de Halloween.

A few weeks ago a good friend of my husband turned 50, it was a very nice party, food and the sangria were delightful.

The theme of the party was The Hat Crazy, super original; an excellent excuse to put my creativity into a good use.

This was my idea, a vase with flowers and a watering can, when I told my husband the idea it caused him to laugh, (I think is great my queen). He answered me.

I use a headband to attach the plateau, which was a cap from lamp, I decided to use it because it was light, and its shape and color very similar to that of a flower pot. I use oasis, this is what used to hold flowers in the florists stores, I purchase everything a 99 cent store. I garnish with small butterflies a nest with eggs a couple of birds.

The hat of my husband is a water pot, I used glossy plastic strips, this is the plastic is that is used as ornament filler for Christmas baskets, fruit or flowers. I use elastic silicone so that it could hold the head, as are the children's party hats, and ready.

It is the end result you see on the picture, I hope this will inspire you to make a birthday with this crazy hat topic is loads of fun or for Halloween parties.

Uñas Tequila (Gato Negro)

¡Hola! En los ultimos días he estado trabajando en mi jardín, tenía un poco descuidadas mis manos, así que ayer decidí consentirlas un poco y aprovechar y usar unas calcomanías que compre de cabezas de gato negro y blanco, perfectas para realzar en mis uñas  mi Tequila y Martini, mis gatos.

Y he aquí mi inspiración, use mi esmalte favorito en color gris (820 Stormy de Revlon) El esmalte rosado en nuevo, me lo enviaron para probar y me gusto no solo el color, también su fórmula de secado rápido, (28 Pink Express de Milani).

Espero te sirva de inspiración mi diseño, que no es cosas del otro mundo. Pero es diferente, fácil y divertido. Ya veremos que se me acurre, al momento de usar las calcomanías del gato blanco (Martini).

MASCARILLA CON ARCILLA ROSADA Y CAFE -PINK CLAY AND COFFEE MASK

La arcilla rosada es una de las arcillas que más me gusta. Por su textura suave, por lo vigorizante que se siente la piel una vez haz realizado la mascarilla, además de otros beneficios que las arcillas tienen tales como; limpiar, desintoxicar, mejor circulación, rejuvenecer, calmar y suavizar la piel.

Las arcillas tienen infinidad de usos y al mezclarlas con otros ingredientes como por ejemplo el café, este dará un valor agregado a las maravillosas propiedades que la arcilla ya tiene.

Mascarilla de arcilla rosada con café (Para todo tipo de piel)

Además de todas las propiedades ya mencionadas, esta mascarilla es genial para la flacidez, antienvejecimiento, crecimiento y vitalidad para el cabello. Si, haz leído bien; esta también la puedes usar en el cuero cabelludo para estimular el crecimiento del cabello, no es broma J

Ingredientes y cómo usar: Arcilla rosada, (puedes usar otro tipo de arcilla) pero mi preferida es la rosada. En mi tienda de Pink Tomato la puedes encontrar, oprimí aquí para ir a mi tienda.

Café regular fuerte, es decir, haz un café expreso para tu mascarilla. Entre más oscuro mejor, el café debe estar fresco (temperatura ambiente) para poder ser usado, no uses café caliente o recién hecho.

Las cantidades son por igual, es decir. Por cada cucharada de arcilla una de café, para el rostro puedes usar media cucharada, para el cabello o cuerpo necesitaras de más, porque esta mascarilla no es solo para el rostro, aprovecha sus beneficios y consiente tu escote y senos.

También la puedes usar después de una exfoliación corporal en todo tu cuerpo, ¿cómo la vez? Estoy segura que se te antoja.

Cuando la uses en el cuero cabelludo, aprovecha y da masajes capilares al mismo tiempo que aplicas la mascarilla, dejas actuar por 20 a 30 minutos y enjugas tu cabello común y corriente. Ya sea que quieras usar shampoo y acondicionador o como es mi preferencia, primero lavo el cabello, luego aplico la mascarilla y enjuagó solo con agua.

La puedes usar con la frecuencia que quieras, la dejas actuar por 10 o 15 minutos si la usas en la piel, la retiras con agua fresca, seguido aplicas tu tónico y crema hidrante favorita.

Con el uso frecuente de esta mascarilla notaras tu piel más hidratada, suave, tono parejo y ayudaras a prevenir el envejecimiento prematuro de la piel. Y en tu cabello? tu cabello sera quien te muestre los resultados.

Mi centro de trabajo-My workplace

 

¡Hola! Quiero compartirte la transformación de mi centro de trabajo, ahora mi Pink Tomato tiene un espacio acorde con su estilo.

He usado como fondo un color chocolate, el resto de las paredes están en color rosado bebe. El piso de madera le da una mejor apariencia a la habitación.

Tenía la idea de pintar en la pared el árbol de la cubierta de mi libro, pero; hace meses encontré en una tienda un árbol en calcomanías muy parecido al de mi libro. Por fin llego el día de poder lucirlo en mi pared.

Las estanterías de madera son de la tienda Ikea, cubrir la parte trasera  con una tela del mis color de la pintura, chocolate. Así puedo usar el espacio que hay entre el (techo pared) y la estantería, para guardar cosas que no quiero tener visibles, lucirá mas organizado.

 

The wooden shelves are from Ikea store, I cover the back of the shelf with a fabric in the same color as the background wall, chocolate. So I can use the space between the (roof wall) and the shelf, to store things I do not want to have visible and will look more organized.

 

 

A mi escritorio viejo le di un nuevo look, el color negro no va bien con el estilo natural que quiero. Se me ocurrió cubrí la superficie del escritorio con papel de contacto en corcho, este lo compre en HomeDepot. ¡Quedo genial! Si en algún momento cambio de opinión, solo tengo que quitar el papel y el escritorio lucirá como si nada hubiera pasado.

 

I gave a new look to old desk, the color black does not go well with the natural style of the room, I came up with the idea of covering my desk with cork contact paper; I bought it in Home Depot. It looks great! If at some point I change my mind, all I have to do is remove the paper and the desktop will look as if nothing ever happened.

 

 

 

Aun me faltan algunos detalles, pero debo decir que estoy contenta con el nuevo espacio para mi Pink Tomato.
